Debut Album from LIKASET FARKUT

The Finnish rock duo LIKASET FARKUT was formed by musicians Aleksi Kelloniemi and Erkka Immonen in Helsinki in 2022. The project operates at the intersection of genres such as dance-punk, grunge, and garage rock.
Their debut studio album, OVI ON AUKI, was officially released on September 11, and Kaaoszine named the record one of the most interesting debuts of the year in Finnish rock music. The publication noted that the band masterfully blends completely polar influences in their material, ranging from the British act Oasis and the grunge of Nirvana to the electronic sound of The Prodigy.
In a review of the pre-release single “Maailmanloppu,” Rumba magazine highlighted the song's message through the musicians' statement, noting that when madness is happening all around and the end of the world is approaching, it is better to just step on the gas and rush toward the horizon. The press described another single, “Yhtään mitään,” as a track capable of bringing the listener straight back to the atmosphere of a lazy, sunny day.
