Discovery of the Week: Face The Legacy
An atmospheric exploration of melodic metal driven by thunderous guitar solos and unfiltered raw vocal power
Face The Legacy is a hard rock band from Jyväskylä, founded in early 2015 by Niklas Lindeman and Elias Suhonen.
The creative journey of Face The Legacy began with Niklas and Elias wanting to play a softer style of hard rock with nostalgic undertones. Their music reflects a variety of influences across different genres, ranging from 80s hard rock and 90s grunge to modern rock. After refining their style over the years, the band released their debut single, “Hear Us Out”, in October 2021, and by the following spring, they introduced their first full-length album, titled Ashes of the Ground.
Currently, the band consists of four members: vocalist and guitarist Niklas Lindeman, guitarist Elias Suhonen, bassist Aleksanteri Skaniakos, and drummer Pietro Tuominen.
