From the very beginning of her music career in 2017, this young woman from Joensuu began writing songs in Finnish, later performing them on small stages in the city where she studied. A few years later, she moved to the Finnish capital, where she managed to catch the attention of Yle and introduce herself to a wider audience.

Miia performs ballads that leave no listener indifferent. Her songs are remarkably calm and yet multi-layered—an excellent choice for a relaxing evening soundtrack.

The project officially took its first steps with the debut single “Tyhjiä katseita”. This was followed by “Täydellinen sinulle”, which helped establish MOOA's presence on the indie scene while Miia was still performing on small local stages in Joensuu.
