The history of the melodic groove metal band Shereign began in 2015 in the city of Kuopio, though their lineup has undergone several changes since then. According to the band members, the idea to form the band was born from an endless passion for music and an unyielding drive to turn their rock and roll dream into reality.
This charismatic Finnish rock band has successfully crafted its own unique sound, combining strong guitar melodies with groovy riffs. A particular highlight of their music is the distinct voice of vocalist Sara Strömmer.
Shereign presented their debut album, Ghost Diaries, in January 2023, and their second full-length record can be expected in 2025.

Guitarist Joonas Pulkkinen explained that numerous gigs and hundreds of written songs had truly clarified the band's vision, noting that their goal was to build a professional and long-term career. Sara Strömmer agreed with his words, adding that they were all focused on making the band sound and look great, both in the studio and live on stage.
Currently, Shereign is considered one of the most promising newcomers on the Finnish heavy music scene.
