Distant Stares Drop New Collaborative Single “Never Lost Again”
The gothic rock outfit continues their prolific streak following the release of their full-length album earlier this year. Their latest track delivers a hypnotic blend of coldwave elements enriched by stellar classical guest instrumentation
Today, the gothic rock band Distant Stares has unveiled their brand-new single, “Never Lost Again,” recorded in collaboration with Argentinian violinist and artist Lux Mala.
This release follows their full-length album, Separated for Life, which dropped in May of this year, as the band continues to actively put out new music.
The material operates at the intersection of gothic rock and classic coldwave. Moving away from their past experiments with a rawer production, the new track emphasizes a dense bassline and a hypnotic guitar progression.
The music itself consistently maintains the melancholic and detached tone that has become a signature for the project.
