Hey, and thank you! The break was caused by some small changes in our lineup. It was also a good time to just sit down and clear our vision. It feels good to come back with fresh ideas, as well as with some updates in the lineup.

The main event of the last day of spring was the release of your new single. We were thrilled when we heard it! It's a really great track. How are you feeling about it now? Have you already received any feedback?
We're glad to hear that! We're very proud and satisfied as well. We couldn't be happier with the feedback we've received, because it's been positive and encouraging.

What's the story behind "Our Bloom"? What's the main message of this song?
"Our Bloom" is a song about a fleeting moment, a stranger's glance, the unpredictable tension that suddenly pulls you toward forbidden, unknown pleasures.

Are you planning to release a video for "Our Bloom"? If so, what do you envision for it?
We would like to shoot a music video for "Our Bloom". We see this song as very cinematic, so it's more than possible that we'll release a couple of nice visual pieces in the future.

Tell us about the band. How did the band form and how did you all meet each other? Why did you choose the name Enter Rana and what does it mean?
Young Teemu H., Teemu L., and Roope met each other when they lived in a small but idyllic town called Savonlinna. They discovered that their tastes in music and dreams matched, so they decided to find out what they could do with that. Ossi and Lauri, the last missing pieces of the collective, were found in Joensuu, where Teemu H. and Teemu L. were studying at the time. The band's name was stolen from an imaginary childhood friend.

Teemu Lumme has an amazing vocal style. Is that an individual trait or the result of long-term work?
It's quite simple — Teemu has always loved to sing in his own little world whenever he had the chance. For him, singing works as a kind of therapy, and at the same time, it brings him pleasure.

Last year, you changed your lineup. Kosonen was replaced by two new guitarists, Lauri Mäntynen and Ossi Oikari. Why did that happen? And how did you meet?
Kalle [Kosonen] wanted to focus on his own art. We met Lauri and Ossi on a foggy night in Joensuu.

What has changed in the band since then?
We are focused on creating meaningful music that inspires us. Our connection is more open, and we're trying to find the right balance between moving forward and staying in the moment.

How do you think your music has changed since the release of your debut EP?
Easily. Since we show our feelings more openly, it reflects in our music too.

Enter Rana has a very specific sound. Your music is easy to distinguish from other bands. What shaped your approach to creativity?
We share a common interest in cinematic melodies and textures created by layers of sound.

There are many rock bands in Finland. Is it difficult to find your place, a label, and a studio? Do you have people who support you?
Yes, it's quite difficult to share music with a wide audience in our country. Nevertheless, we believe that since we create our art without compromise and keep moving forward, our audience will eventually find us. Luckily, we already have great people who support us. <3

The Finnish music scene is increasingly filled with pop musicians and rappers. Is it harder to be a rock musician now? Does heavy music have a future?
We believe that rock and heavy music will always find their place in people's hearts. It's never too late for rock 'n' roll!

Why do you write lyrics in English? Do you think that by performing songs in English, you can achieve greater popularity?
We want to convey a universal message through our art.

What themes are fundamental to you? What is your main source of inspiration?
A wide spectrum of emotions in life — minor and huge, but mostly huge. We see inspiration everywhere we look.

What are your plans for the near future? Will you be playing at summer festivals or working on new material? Have you thought about making an album?
This summer we'll be working on new material, and in the fall we'll prepare for shows. But whether it will be a full-length album, an EP, a compilation, or just a single release — that remains a mystery.

As for singles and albums, do you think the music industry could evolve to a point where albums cease to exist? Do you think everything could come to the point where bands just release a song or two every month or two as they write them? Or do you believe albums still have a right to exist?
We think a new wave of album releases is coming. People need more open art and remember the potential of music albums.

What's the next big goal you guys want to achieve?
To find the right balance between moving forward and staying in the moment.
